Backstory:
Woeful Range was formed in a small town in Utah in 2013, where the vast mountains and abundant nature became their biggest inspiration. The band consists of three members: Jacob, a guitar player and the lead vocalist, his brother, Edward on the drums and their childhood friend, Brandon, a genius on the keyboard. The trio was inseparable growing up, spending their summers hiking the Utah ranges and camping under the stars. Their shared love for music was discovered around the campfire on those trips, where they would sing songs with the crackling fire as their only audience.
After graduating high school, they decided to turn their passion for music into a profession. They named their band ‘Woeful Range’ as a homage to the mountains that have been their muse, and the melancholic tone of their music. Over the years, they have managed to accumulate a significant following with their poetic lyrics and soulful sound.

Fan Testimonial:
My name is Anna Summers, and I am Woeful Range’s biggest fan. Their music is like balm to the soul. It’s raw, emotional, and the kind of honest that you can’t fake. In a world full of auto-tune and overproduced tracks, their sound is refreshing. Their songs are poetic narratives that take me on a journey, and it’s a journey I never want to end. It’s not just the music, though. It’s the memories, the emotions, and the connection I feel with their songs. I was going through a rough patch when I stumbled upon ‘Dusk in the Valley,’ and it was like they put into words what I couldn’t. I am forever thankful for Woeful Range, and I can’t wait to see where their music takes them next.
