Backstory:
Worthy Director was formed in the heart of San Francisco, California in 2012. The band members, frontman and lead vocalist Jared Michaels, drummer Leslie Thorn, and guitarist Ryan Windsor all met in film school. Sharing a mutual love for music, they started jamming together in their free time and soon discovered a chemistry that was undeniable. Driven by their passion for film and inspired by the melodies and rhythms of their favorite movie soundtracks, they decided to drop out and pursue their love for music full time. They named their band ‘Worthy Director’ as a nod to their past and a symbol of their willingness to direct their own lives.
