Wrathful Rabbit

Backstory:

Wrathful Rabbit is a band that sprouted from the back alleys of Chicago, Illinois, where the concrete jungle meets the colorful art scene. The four-member band was formed in 2010 when lead vocalist and guitarist, Jake “Rabbit” Robins, met drummer, Mikey “Thumper” Thompson, at a local dive bar’s open mic night. They quickly discovered their shared passion for music and, along with bassist, Sammy “Carrot” Carlson, and keyboardist, Louie “Hop” Harrison, they formed Wrathful Rabbit. Their shared experiences of struggling with the harsh realities of urban life and their passion for creating intense, powerful music formed the backbone of their unique sound.

Title:
“Alleys of Despair”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse)
Dm G C
In the alleys of despair, we find our solace there
Am Em F
We’ve seen the worst, but still, we dare to dare.
Dm G C
The city lights, they gleam, each one is a broken dream
Am Em F
Yet, we find hope in the endless, haunting scream.

(Chorus)
G C Em Dm
We are the Wrathful Rabbit, we do not fear the night
G C Em Dm
Our music is our weapon, our songs are our fight
G C Em Dm
In the alleys of despair, we’ve made our home,
G C Em Dm
Through the rhythm and the rhyme, our story is shown.

(Verse)
Dm G C
There’s a fire in our hearts, born of concrete and graffiti art,
Am Em F
Echoing the city’s pulse, a symphony of starts.
Dm G C
We dance with shadows, make friends with the moon,
Am Em F
Our music is the anthem, of the midnight’s tune.

(Chorus)
G C Em Dm
We are the Wrathful Rabbit, we do not fear the night,
G C Em Dm
Our music is our weapon, our songs are our fight.
G C Em Dm
In the alleys of despair, we’ve made our home,
G C Em Dm
Through the rhythm and the rhyme, our story is shown.
