Backstory:
Born out of a shared passion for bending the rules of sound, the band Wry Bulb was founded in the small town of Rye, New Hampshire. The founding members, Josh “Lightning” Lamont on lead vocals and guitar, Andy “Power Surge” Sanders on drums, and Dan “Diode” Davis on bass, were friends since their early school days. They always had a knack for music, but it wasn’t until they started experimenting with mixing traditional and experimental sounds that they truly found their niche. Wry Bulb, named after their unique, unconventional approach to music (much like a bulb not screwed in properly), has been electrifying audiences since 2010 with their unique blend of sounds.

Title:
“Fluorescent Dreams”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] Waking up to the [D] sound of your [Em] voice,
[C] Drifting in my [G] fluorescent dreams, oh,
[G] The world outside [D] might be [Em] dark and cold,
[C] But your light [G] guides me home.
(Chorus)
[D] Fluorescent dreams, [Em] in technicolor beams,
[C] You’re the light that [G] breaks my night,
[D] In our electric love, [Em] under neon skies above,
[C] You’re my guiding [G] Wry Bulb light.
(Verse 2)
[G] Your whispers are a [D] static sigh, [Em]
[C] Igniting my [G] heart’s filament,
[G] Shadows may dance, [D] along the night, [Em]
[C] But in your gaze, [G] I find my element.
(Repeat Chorus)
End:
[D] Fluorescent dreams, [Em] in technicolor gleams,
[C] You’re the light that [G] breaks my plight,
[D] In our electric love, [Em] under neon skies above,
[C] You’re my guiding [G] Wry Bulb light.
Fan’s Testimonial:
“My name is Emily Rose, and I’m the biggest Wry Bulb fan! Their music is like a soundscape of my emotions. It’s the perfect blend of raw, gritty rock with a touch of electronica. Their song, ‘Fluorescent Dreams,’ spoke to me on so many levels; it’s like they put my thoughts into words and turned them into this amazing tune. I relate to their music because they are not afraid to explore and step outside the box. They’re genuine, they’re unique, and they’re unapologetically themselves. Wry Bulb is hands down my favorite band!”
