Yawning Scarf formed in 2008 in the heart of bustling San Francisco. The band initially consisted of four childhood friends: Jasper ‘Jaz’ Adams, Sterling ‘Star’ Hall, Beatrice ‘Bea’ Franklin, and Otis ‘Otto’ White. As teenagers, they spent countless hours in Bea’s garage, passionately experimenting with various musical instruments and sound effects. As time passed, their shared love for music blossomed into something more tangible, a band known as Yawning Scarf. The name was inspired by a joke between the members, derived from their love for cozy fall weather and an insatiable desire for creative expression.
