Backstory:

Young Replacement formed during a stormy night in the winter of 2012 in Portland, Oregon. The band started after the lead vocalist and songwriter, Dylan Reid, had a chance meeting in a local coffee shop with a talented drummer named Max Hamilton. Bonding over their shared love for the grunge era of the ’90s and their dissatisfaction with the current music scene, they decided to form a band, later recruiting bassist Lily Thompson and lead guitarist Ethan Carter.

Their journey to stardom wasn’t without its share of struggle. The band spent countless hours practicing in a cramped garage, dealing with broken-down vans on cross-country tours, and playing to near-empty bars. However, their shared passion for their music and their uncompromising commitment to their creative vision led them to their breakout moment in 2017, when their single, “Fading Echo”, caught the attention of critics and fans alike.
