1. Backstory:
Zany Drum was born out of the suburban neighborhoods of Denver, Colorado in the brisk fall of 2013. The band formed when three childhood friends – Colin Farley (vocals and guitar), Mike Dunst (percussion), and Sam Collins (bass) – combined their shared love for music and their unique, wacky sense of humor. They began their journey in Colin’s garage with a makeshift drum kit and second-hand instruments. Their early performances at local venues were marked by their quirky, energetic style which soon struck a chord with the audience and the local press, earning them the nickname, ‘Zany Drum’.

Their big break came when they won a battle of the bands contest in Denver, impressing a local record producer with their raw energy and unique sound. This led to their first record deal and their debut album “Loud Echoes,” which topped local charts and made them a household name in Denver.
