Backstory:
Formed in 2010 in the bustling city of Portland, Oregon, Zany Need began as a trio of high school friends – lead vocalist and guitarist Max Everett, drummer Oliver Kirk, and bassist Jamie Spencer. The trio, who met in the school music room, bonded over their shared love of music and quickly began experimenting with writing and performing. Their raw talent and shared vision catapulted them from battle-of-the-band winners to local sensations, and their unique blend of music started to gain attention in the national circuit. In 2015, they added a new member, keyboardist Lisa Walker, who brought a whole new layer of depth to their sound, propelling them further into the national spotlight.
