Backstory:
Zigzag Request was born out of the eclectic minds of childhood best friends, Max Harper and Jonas Smith, in the bustling city of San Francisco. Max, a graphic designer by day and guitarist by night, and Jonas, a session drummer for local bands, had always shared a deep appreciation for music that didn’t quite fit into any specific genre. Their shared love for music sparked their journey into the world of songwriting and performing during their college years. The duo gradually found their unique sound, blending elements of different music genres. The name ‘Zigzag Request’ was coined during one of their spontaneous jam sessions as a reflection of their unconventional, zigzagging journey into the music world.
