Title:
“One Last Night in the Rain”
Lyrics:
[C Em Am F]
(Verse 1)
C
Walking alone, down the darkened street,
Em
Neon lights reflecting off the wet concrete.
Am
Could you remember, the love we used to share?
F
One last night in the rain, I wish you were here.
(Chorus)
C
Our love was a tempest, tangled and wild,
Em
But it flickered out, like a scared little child.
Am
I’m dancing in the shadows, with your ghost in the rain,
F
One last night, to relive our pain.
(Verse 2)
C
The echoes of our laughter, still ring in my ears,
Em
Lost in the silence, I’m drowning in tears.
Am
Every raindrop holds, a memory so clear,
F
One last night in the rain, longing you were here.
(Chorus)
C
Our love was a tempest, tangled and wild,
Em
But it faded away, like a forgotten child.
Am
I’m dancing in the shadows, with your ghost in the rain,
F
One last night, to feel that pain.
(Outro)
C
Beneath the starless sky, I whisper your name,
Em
One last night in the rain, nothing’s the same.
Am
Our love was a story, now washed with the rain,
F
One more night, I’d feel that pain.
