Backstory:
Honorable Information is a band that came to life in the bustling city of New Orleans, Louisiana. The quartet was made up of childhood friends; Gavin “Gav” Thompson on lead vocals and guitar, Keith “Keys” Adams on keyboard and backup vocals, Benjamin “Benny” Nelson on the bass, and Alexander “Al” Jenkins behind the drums. All members originally met in high school, where they bonded over their love of music and their shared dreams of stardom. Their late-night jamming sessions in Gav’s garage eventually turned into local gigs, and before they knew it, they were embraced by the music scene in their city.
The band was initially known for covering songs by their favorite artists. However, they soon began to channel their creativity into original music which reflected their unique blend of influences, which ranged from blues and jazz to rock and pop. Their music was known for being soulful and honest; they didn’t shy away from discussing their struggles, hopes, and dreams. Honorable Information was not just a band, it was a brotherhood, a journey, and a shared dream.

Title:
“Emerald City Blues”
Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am Em G D
City lights are shining, under the emerald sky,
Am Em G D
Walking down the boulevard, with heavy sighs,
Am Em G D
Blues in my pocket, dreams in my shoes,
Am Em G D
In the Emerald City, singing my blues.
(Chorus)
Am Em G D
Emerald City Blues, oh how I sing to you,
Am Em G D
Lost in the rhythm, beneath the twilight hue.
Am Em G D
Dancing on the pavements, under the neon moon,
Am Em G D
In the Emerald City, I’ll find my tune.
(Verse 2)
Am Em G D
Neon lights are flashing, reflecting in my eyes,
Am Em G D
Heartbeat matching the rhythm, of the city’s cries,
Am Em G D
Chasing the shadows, whispers of the muse,
Am Em G D
In the Emerald City, I’ve got nothing to lose.
(Chorus)
Am Em G D
Emerald City Blues, oh how I sing to you,
Am Em G D
Lost in the rhythm, beneath the twilight hue.
Am Em G D
Dancing on the pavements, under the neon moon,
Am Em G D
In the Emerald City, I’ll find my tune.
Customer Testimonial:
“My name is Sarah, and I’m undoubtedly Honorable Information’s biggest fan. Their music is raw, authentic, and it speaks to me on a personal level. As someone who moved to a big city with big dreams, ‘Emerald City Blues’ encapsulates my struggles, fears, and hopes. Gav’s soulful voice, backed by the rhythmic pulsation of Keys, Benny, and Al’s instruments, is like a warm hug on a cold, lonely night in the city. Honorable Information isn’t just a band to me, they’re my companions on this journey and their music is my solace.”
