Content Liability

Backstory:

Content Liability was born in the gritty basements of Portland, Oregon, back in 2014. The band was formed by a group of four college friends who shared an affinity and passion for music and a common need to express their thoughts on the modern digital era. Their early days were filled with intense jamming sessions, coupled with philosophical musings about the impact of technology on society, which eventually became the backbone of their music. The band’s name, Content Liability, is a cheeky nod to their unique narrative – a commentary on the digital age and its overflow of content, both a blessing and a curse, that shapes our perceptions and lives.

Title:

“Echo Chamber”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am G F C
Lost in the maze of a digital scroll,
Am G F C
Selling dreams and stories untold.
Am G F C
Swipe right, swipe left, in a world so cold,
Am G F C
Reality’s bent, truth’s left on hold.

(Chorus)
Em C G D
In this echo chamber we roam,
Em C G D
Strangers in a crowd, yet we’re alone.
Em C G D
Voices lost in an endless drone,
Em C G D
The echo chamber’s our new home.

(Verse 2)
Am G F C
Drowning in feeds, in data we trust,
Am G F C
Virtue and vice, in pixels we thrust.
Am G F C
Look up, look around, before we rust,
Am G F C
In the screen’s glow, find us if you must.

(Chorus)
Em C G D
In this echo chamber we loom,
Em C G D
Trading sunlight for the screen’s gloom.
Em C G D
Trapped in our self-made tomb,
Em C G D
The echo chamber’s sealing our doom.

(Bridge)
Am G F C
Freedom is but a forgotten meme,
Am G F C
In the echo chamber, where we scream.

Testimonial:

“I’ve been following Content Liability since their first basement gig. Their music is a mirror to our lives and a wake-up call for our society. They challenge the status quo with their poignant lyrics, all while delivering killer tunes that can both set you thinking and get you dancing. They aren’t afraid to voice unpopular opinions and demand change. In an era where most content feels like a monotonous echo, they’re a breath of fresh air, challenging the very echo chamber we’re all stuck in. That’s why they’re my favorite band. They make me feel seen and understood in a world that often feels overwhelming.”
