Noteworthy Space

Backstory:

Noteworthy Space was born out of the vibrant music scene of Seattle, Washington, in 2007. A pair of childhood friends, Timothy “Tim” Bedford and Brian Gellar, who had grown up sharing their love of music and jamming in their parents’ garages, decided to form a band after graduating from college. Their shared affinity for classic rock, combined with a modern indie vibe, helped shape their unique sound. The two quickly gained local attention, and after adding drummer Sarah Jennings and bassist Luke Martin to the mix, they solidified their lineup and started performing beyond their hometown.

The band released their first album, “Stars and Sounds,” in 2009. It was met with rave reviews, catapulting them to a national stage. Their subsequent albums only solidified their place in the music industry, with their heartrending lyrics, gut-punching riffs, and passionate performances. Their music speaks to the heart and soul, exploring themes of adventure, existentialism, and the human journey, much like space exploration, which inspired their band name.

Title:
“Pluto’s Tears”

Full song lyrics:

[Verse]
Am G
Far beyond the sun, where the stars collide,
F C
There’s a lonely planet, with a somber tide.
Am G
Frozen in its tears, lost in its plight,
F C
Pluto, tell your story, through the silent night.

[Chorus]
F C
Pluto’s tears fall, in the cosmic sea,
G Am
In a universe so vast, a mystery to me.
F C
Silver tears sparkle, a galaxy away,
G Am
An echo of your heartache, in the Milky Way.

[Verse]
Am G
Shunned and forgotten, a dwarf in the night,
F C
Yet your silent strength, radiates so bright.
Am G
Your isolation, a testament to pain,
F C
In the vast celestial canvas, you remain.

[Chorus]
F C
Pluto’s tears fall, in the cosmic sea,
G Am
In a universe so vast, a mystery to me.
F C
Silver tears sparkle, a galaxy away,
G Am
An echo of your heartache, in the Milky Way.

Testimonial:

“Noteworthy Space is my absolute favorite band, and it’s not just for their catchy tunes. It’s how they translate the human condition into their songs, taking inspiration from the vast reaches of space and turning it into soul-stirring music. As an astrophysics student, I’ve always been fascinated by the cosmos and I appreciate how their music builds a tangible bridge between my passion for science and the raw emotions I often struggle to express. Each song is an expedition, an exploration of the unknown, much like space itself. They inspire me in so many ways, and that’s why they’ll always be my favorite.”
