Bony Meal

Backstory:

Bony Meal was formed in the vibrant music scene of Austin, Texas in the late 2000s. The band includes four friends – lead vocalist and guitarist Addison, bass guitarist Clark, drummer Nash, and keyboardist Page. They first crossed paths at a local music festival and quickly discovered a shared love for alternative rock wrapped in a layer of melodic harmonies.

The band started by playing small gigs at local bars and quickly gained popularity because of their electric performances and unique musical style. They named themselves Bony Meal as a nod to their lean beginnings and as a metaphor for the raw, unfiltered music they produce. The band believes in the power of music to evoke emotions and considers their band a vehicle to share stories that resonate with their listeners.

Song Title:

“Rusty Hearts”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am Em
I found my soul in the city lights,
G D
Lost in the maze, seeking higher heights.
Am Em
Your voice, a beacon, piercing the night,
G D
Guided me home, with its ethereal might.

(Chorus)
C G
Our Rusty Hearts, beaten and scarred,
D Em
Yet they keep beating, no matter how hard.
C G
In the mirror of love, we see our reflection,
D Em
A testament to resilience, and affection.

(Verse 2)
Am Em
The cobwebs of past, shall no longer bind,
G D
Us to the chains, of a haunted mind.
Am Em
In your eyes, a sanctuary I find,
G D
An escape from the world, unkind.

(Chorus)
C G
Our Rusty Hearts, weathered by time,
D Em
Yet they hum a tune, in rhythm and rhyme.
C G
In the dance of love, we find perfection,
D Em
A celebration of life, and connection.
