Writhing Judgment

Backstory:

Writhing Judgment is the brainchild of childhood friends Aaron Clark (vocals, lead guitar) and Ben Turner (drums), who grew up in the quiet town of Easton, Maryland. Sharing a mutual love for music, they began jamming in their respective basements during their high school years. Their musical journey began in earnest when they met two like-minded individuals, Jeff Baker (bass) and Terry McDowell (rhythm guitar), at a local open mic night. The four of them bonded over their love for aggressive music and a shared dissatisfaction with societal norms, leading to the formation of Writhing Judgment in 2009. They moved to Seattle soon after, attracted by its vibrant music scene, where they honed their sound, playing at various local venues and building a loyal fanbase.

Title:
“Cathedral of Shadows”

Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Em – G – D – A
In the cathedral of shadows, where the echoes lie,
We seek truth in the darkness, under the moonlit sky.
The illusion of freedom, the chains we deny,
In the cathedral of shadows, we let out our cry.

(Chorus)
C – G – D – Em
In the cathedral of shadows, we find our grace,
Peeling back the layers, the falsehood we face.
Through the pain and the struggle, we quicken our pace,
In the cathedral of shadows, we find our place.

(Verse 2)
Em – G – D – A
The cathedral of shadows, a sanctuary deep,
In its silence, we awaken from our sleep.
The fabric of reality begins to seep,
In the cathedral of shadows, secrets we keep.

(Chorus)
C – G – D – Em
In the cathedral of shadows, we fight our fears,
Shedding the skin of the wasted years.
In the echoes of silence, our path clears,
In the cathedral of shadows, we dry our tears.
