Backstory:

‘Serpentine Soap’ is a band of four vivacious souls that came to life in the vibrant streets of San Francisco. The members of the band include lead vocalist and guitarist Sam “Serpent” Johnson, drummer and backup vocalist Alex “Soap” Thompson, bass guitarist Ryan “Rye” Anderson, and keyboardist Lisa “Lizard” Smith. They met at an open mic night in a small, artsy café, where they found themselves drawn to each other’s distinct musical styles. Uniting their talents, they formed ‘Serpentine Soap’, a name that commemorates their first jam session together on Serpentine Avenue and their collective love for soap sculptures!
