Caring Toothbrush

Backstory:
Caring Toothbrush emerged from the heart of Brooklyn, New York, in the summer of 2015. The band was formed by lifelong friends, lead singer John “Chops” Chomsky and drummer Daphne “Daps” Silva, who had met in their high school music class. After graduation, they found solace in their shared passion for music and their desire to create something unique. The name Caring Toothbrush was inspired by a childhood inside joke about an animated toothbrush that cared too much. They decided it was the perfect name, symbolizing their commitment to create music that cares for the soul.

Their debut album, “The Gentle Bristles”, was a hit in the local music scene, leading to opportunities to perform at multiple music festivals across the country. Their eccentric stage presence, coupled with their raw and emotive music, quickly caught the attention of a broad fan base.

Title:
“Rinse and Repeat”

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am G D Em
Woken up, in the dawn’s early light,
Am G D Em
Cleaned my teeth, gearing up for the fight,
Am G D Em
White foam smiles, under the bathroom neon,
Am G D Em
The day’s old stains, they are now bygone.

(Chorus)
C Am G D
Rinse and repeat, the rhythm of our lives,
C Am G D
Lost in the grind, like bees in their hives.
C Am G D
Rinse and repeat, under the glaring sun,
C Am G D
In this world’s great race, we’ve just begun.

(Verse 2)
Am G D Em
In the mirror, the reflection’s unclear,
Am G D Em
Day after day, year after year,
Am G D Em
The water’s cold, but the heart is warm,
Am G D Em
In this mundane life, we find our form.

(Chorus)
C Am G D
Rinse and repeat, the rhythm of our lives,
C Am G D
Lost in the grind, like bees in their hives.
C Am G D
Rinse and repeat, under the glaring sun,
C Am G D
In this world’s great race, we’ve just begun.
