Backstory:

Strident Bedroom was born out of the eclectic ravings of a shared college dorm in Brooklyn, New York. The founding members, Timothy O’Sullivan and Damien Ford, bonded over countless sleepless nights, fueled by caffeine and a shared passion for music. What started as late-night jam sessions slowly metamorphosed into the creation of original music, both raw and unfiltered, evoking the chaos and energy of the city they called home. Eventually, they brought on board a talented drummer, Madeline Liu, and a versatile bassist, Alex Rios, thus giving wings to their musical endeavors.

In 2014, Strident Bedroom took the local music scene by storm with their unique blend of music, replete with edgy lyrics and atmospheric melodies. The band gained substantial attention for their unabashed commitment to authenticity, refusing to conform to typical musical norms and instead focusing on their personal experiences and raw emotions. Their electrifying live performances and undeniable talent quickly garnered them a loyal and steadily growing fan base.
