Svelte Feature

Backstory:

Svelte Feature began as a musical experiment in a small Brooklyn loft. Five college friends – Henry, Paul, Sally, Alice, and Tom, with their diverse backgrounds in music, decided to join forces in 2005. Spending countless hours in that loft, they found their unique sound through a fusion of their individual styles, eventually attracting a cult following in the local underground scene.

Their breakout moment came two years later, in 2007, when their music was featured in an indie film that made it big at Sundance. This exposure brought them national attention and a recording contract with a major label. Despite their success, the band stays true to their roots, often performing surprise gigs in small venues around their beloved Brooklyn.

Brooklyn streets, oh how they speak, (F, C, G)

“From the moment I heard Svelte Feature’s music on a late-night college radio show, I knew they were something special. Their song ‘Brooklyn Streets’ perfectly captures the spirit of this city that I love and the aspirations of every young artist trying to make it here. Every beat, every lyric resonates with me on a personal level. They are my favorite band because they are real, honest, and their music speaks to me.
