Backstory: Superior Ring was formed in the heart of Seattle during 2006. The band’s members, lead singer and guitarist Jason Carroll, bassist Mike Peterson, drummer Chris Thompson, and keyboardist Laura Simmons, all shared a love for raw, passionate music. The band, born out of the garage of Thompson’s grandmother, grew from an unknown entity to an underground sensation in less than a year. As their music began to circulate in the local scene, they caught the attention of an independent record label and were soon signed.
