Failing Line

Backstory:
Failing Line originated in the heart of Seattle, Washington in 2012. The four members – lead vocalist Brian Alder, guitarist Nick Delaney, bassist Mike Lawson, and drummer Alex Ramirez – were all high school friends who shared a passion for music and a dream of making it big. After years of practicing in their garages and performing in local venues, they were finally discovered by a talent scout at a battle-of-the-bands event. The scout was so impressed with their raw talent and synergy that he immediately signed them to his independent label. Since then, Failing Line has been creating music that resonates with fans across the globe.

Title:
“Fractured Mirror”

Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Am – C – G – D
In the shards of a fractured mirror, I see my own reflection,
Falling back on the truths unclear, seeking some direction.
Late night talks and empty halls, where we used to dwell,
In our minds, we build these walls, our hearts a secret well.

(Chorus)
Em – D – G
Fractured mirror, fragments of the past,
Am – Em – D
A broken echo, shadows that we cast.
G – Em – C – D
In our hearts, we carry our own war,
Am – C – G – D
Fractured mirror, tell me, who are we anymore?

(Verse 2)
Am – C – G – D
In the echoes of hollowed dreams, I hear our fading laughter,
Wandering where the moonlight gleams, chasing ever after.
Lessons learned in twilight’s glow, a silhouette of pain,
In the fractured mirror, we come to know, love is not in vain.

(Chorus)
Em – D – G
Fractured mirror, fragments of the past,
Am – Em – D
A broken echo, shadows that we cast.
G – Em – C – D
In our hearts, we carry our own war,
Am – C – G – D
Fractured mirror, tell me, who are we anymore?
