Backstory:
Accurate Oxygen was born in the heart of Seattle, Washington in 2006. The band composed of four childhood friends: lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Sam Hawkins, lead guitarist Andy Collins, bassist Michael “Mike” Johnson, and drummer Pete Thompson. The band’s first meeting was in a shared music class in a local high school where they discovered their common love for music. In the basement of Sam’s house, they spent countless evenings jamming, composing, and rehearsing, and soon the idea of forming an official band was agreed upon.

The name “Accurate Oxygen” was inspired by their belief that music, like oxygen, is a fundamental necessity for life. They wanted to create music that was as essential and life-giving as the air we breathe. With their raw energy, relatable lyrics, and catchy melodies, Accurate Oxygen started performing in local clubs, soon gaining a loyal fanbase and grabbing the attention of music labels.

Title:
Breathe Again

Full Song Lyrics:

(Verse 1)
Em C G D
Caught in the chaos, lost in the noise,
Em C G D
Whispered illusions, shattered joys.
Em C G D
I’m reaching out, through the haze,
Em C G D
In silence, I’m calling your name.

(Chorus)
Em C G D
Breathe again, in this moment,
Em C G D
Feel the rhythm, let it in.
Em C G D
Together we rise, against the tide,
Em C G D
With you, I learn to breathe again.

(Verse 2)
Em C G D
Echoes of laughter, in empty halls,
Em C G D
Ghosts of past, shadows fall.
Em C G D
Under the moon, through the pain,
Em C G D
With you, I’m whole again.

(Chorus)
Em C G D
Breathe again, in this moment,
Em C G D
Feel the rhythm, let it in.
Em C G D
Together we rise, against the tide,
Em C G D
With you, I learn to breathe again.
