Backstory:
Adolescent District is a group of four childhood friends from a small town in Northern England. Ben Smith on lead vocals and guitar, his twin brother Steve on drums, their neighbor Jenny Thompson on bass and her younger brother Mike on keyboards. Together, they found escapism and an outlet for their youthful energy through music. Their shared dreams and collective passion for music caused them to form the band in their early teenage years, hence the name Adolescent District. Inspired by the vibrant scenes and stories of their district and adolescence, the band creates music that resonates with their listeners’ experiences.
