Backstory:
In the bustling music scene of Minneapolis, Minnesota, four friends, college roommates, stumbled upon their shared love for music. The group was comprised of an English major named Jeff, a Psychology student named Ryan, a Math major named Steve, and an Art student named Alex. While their academic pursuits varied, their passion for music was a common thread, often spending their free time strumming guitars, pounding on keyboards, or drumming on just about anything they could find. They decided to form a band, Agreeable Fellow, in their sophomore year, playing at local gigs and college festivals. Their music, a blend of folk, rock, and indie pop, quickly gained traction, and before they knew it, they were playing for larger audiences, recording their own music, and even touring around the country.

Title:
“Stranger in the Night”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
Am G C
Underneath the canopy of stars, you wander alone,
F Am G
A stranger in the night searching for home.
Am G C
Every streetlight illuminates your weary face,
F Am G
As the night hums a lullaby, in its silent grace.
(Chorus)
C G Am Em
Stranger in the night, where will you roam?
F C G
With every passing light, are you closer to home?
C G Am Em
In the quiet of the night, do you feel alone?
F C G
Stranger in the night, when will you find your home?
(Verse 2)
Am G C
Reflections of the moonlight in your eyes,
F Am G
Tell tales of the miles, beneath the sapphire skies.
Am G C
With every step you take, every heartbeat’s song,
F Am G
The night cradles you gently, as you roam along.
(Chorus)
C G Am Em
Stranger in the night, where will you roam?
F C G
With every passing light, are you closer to home?
C G Am Em
In the quiet of the night, do you feel alone?
F C G
Stranger in the night, when will you find your home?
Fan Testimonial:
The band’s favorite fan is Maggie O’Brien, a librarian from their hometown of Minneapolis. Maggie has been with the band since their first gig at a local bar. In her words, “Agreeable Fellow is magical. Each song they create is a story, a journey. Their music resonates with me on such a deep level. It’s like they understand the human soul and its yearning for connection and understanding. ‘Stranger in the Night’ moved me the first time I heard it at a live show; since then, it’s become an anthem for me. I relate to the wandering stranger, navigating the complexities of life. Their music, whether it’s the upbeat, spirited tunes, or the melancholic, soulful ones, has a way of comforting you, making you feel seen and understood. That’s why they’re my favorite band.”
