Backstory:

Alarmed Defendant was formed in the bustling city of New Orleans, Louisiana in the fall of 2004. The band’s founding members, lead vocalist and guitarist Jason ‘Jase’ Rollins, bassist Christopher ‘Topher’ DeLancey, and drummer ‘Fast Eddie’ Harkins, met while performing community service for various minor infractions. The shared experience brought the trio together, and they discovered a mutual love for music, penning their first songs while doing their time.

The band originally began playing at local bars and clubs, before a chance encounter with a talent scout landed them a record deal. Their unique sound and energetic performances quickly gained them a cult following, and they have since released two full-length albums and performed at various music festivals across the U.S. Their music draws from their experiences, speaking on matters of justice, rebellion, and redemption.
