Soupy Dust

Backstory:
Born in the heart of a state known for its vibrant and eclectic music scene, Soupy Dust hails from Austin, Texas. The four-piece band, consisting of lead vocalist/guitarist Austin “Dusty” King, bassist Carter “Soup” Thompson, drummer Jimmy “Whisk” Williams, and keyboardist Izzy “Dusty” Jones, became friends during their high school years, bonding over their shared love of music. After graduating, they started their music journey in Dusty’s garage, eventually making their way to local pubs and clubs. Their big break came when a local radio station picked up one of their tracks off their first self-produced album, leading to an unexpected surge in popularity and solidifying their place in the Austin music scene.

Genre:
Their music falls under the umbrella of alternative rock with a twist of psychedelic blues.
