Title:

“Echoes of The Canopy”

Song lyrics:

(Verse 1)
[G] An echo of the [C] canopy, [D] whispers through the [Em] trees,
[G] We play an elegy, [C] for a world in [D] dire need.
[Em] The forest weeps in [C] sorrow, [G] stripped of her green [D] gown,
[Am] In the silence of the [C] night, we hear her [D] heartbreaking sound.

(Chorus)
[G] Echoes of the [C] canopy, [D] songs of the wild [Em] free,
[G] Tell us what you [C] need, we’ll heed your [D] sacred plea.
[Em] With guitars in our [C] hands, [G] we make the [D] world understand,
[Am] Through our music, through our [C] song, we’ll help the [D] earth to stand.

(Verse 2)
[G] The rivers run [C] dry, [D] mountains stripped [Em] bare,
[G] In our anguished [C] cry, we express our [D] despair.
[Em] For all that we’ve [C] lost, [G] for all that we [D] take,
[Am] We strum out our [C] apologies in [D] every wake.
