“Shadows of Yesterday”

(Verse 1- C, Am, F, G)
In the corners of my mind, I fight the darkness (C, Am)
Struggling to leave the past behind (F, G)
The echoes of laughter, the whispers of pain (C, Am)
In the shadows of yesterday, I remain (F, G)
(Chorus- Am, F, C, G)
Shadows of Yesterday, don’t you fade away (Am, F)
You’re the scars that remind me, of my yesterdays (C, G)
In the silence of the night, you’re my only ray (Am, F)
Oh, Shadows of Yesterday (C, G)
(Verse 2- C, Am, F, G)
Bleeding through the pages of time, are my memories (C, Am)
With every heartbeat, echoes a rhyme (F, G)
A symphony of sorrow, a melody of regret (C, Am)
In the shadows of yesterday, I’m stuck in a silhouette (F, G)
(Chorus- Am, F, C, G)
Shadows of Yesterday, don’t you fade away (Am, F)
You’re the compass that guides me, in my darkest days (C, G)
In the echoes of the dawn, you’re my only fray (Am, F)
Oh, Shadows of Yesterday (C, G)
