Backstory:
Official Fang was formed in a small garage in the heart of Seattle during the balmy summer of 2001. Childhood friends, lead vocalist Zeke Sullivan, drummer Lyla White, bassist Maddox Reed, and guitarist Eli Stinson found their shared love for music, creating a bond that transcended their friendship. They named their band Official Fang, a nod to their shared obsession with vampire lore and the supernatural. After countless jam sessions and local gigs, they caught the attention of indie record label, Sanguine Sounds, which helped catapult them onto the national stage.
The band’s musical journey has been marked by their commitment to raw authenticity, seemingly effortless talent, and refreshingly unconventional style. Along the way, they’ve faced their fair share of setbacks – lineup changes, label disputes, and personal turmoil. But through it all, Official Fang has stayed true to their roots, proving that they are anything but a fleeting moment in the music industry.

The band’s favorite fan:
Cece Baxter is a diehard fan of Official Fang. She first discovered the band while browsing through a local record store, and that fateful day completely transformed her life. Cece sees the band not just as musicians, but as storytellers who voice the emotions she often struggles to express. “Official Fang is my favorite band because their music doesn’t just speak to me, it speaks for me,” says Cece. “Their songs, their lyrics, they understand me in a way that no one else does.
