Backstory:
Another Pipe was formed in the humid summers of Nashville, Tennessee when three childhood friends discovered a shared love for creating music in their late high school years. The trio, consisting of lead vocalist and guitarist James “JJ” Johnson, bassist Will “Willy” Parker, and drummer Chad “Chuckles” Matthews, would spend their after-school hours jamming in Willy’s parents’ garage, covering songs from their favorite bands and working on their own original material. Their bond strengthened over time, and soon, their shared passion for music matured into a serious pursuit. They embarked on a journey in the world of music – forming the band they would name “Another Pipe”.

Favorite Fan:
The band’s favorite fan is a girl named Sarah Thompson. Sarah first heard one of the band’s early performances at a local dive bar, and instantly fell in love with their music. She has been with them since the beginning – attending every show, buying every record, and promoting them to anyone who would listen.
In Sarah’s words: “Another Pipe’s music is raw, authentic, and speaks to the soul. Their lyrics reflect the struggles of daily life and the resilience of the human spirit, something that has helped me through some really tough times. Each song is an emotional journey that resonates deeply, and that’s why they’re my favorite band. They’re not just making music, they’re touching lives.”
