Backstory:

Frigid Lock, composed of four members from the frosty landscapes of Anchorage, Alaska, came together in the year 2010. The band members, Ethan Frost (Lead Vocals/Guitar), Blake Snow (Bass Guitar), Arielle Chill (Keyboard), and Toby Hail (Drums), all grew up in the cold harshness of the Arctic, each finding their own solace in music. They found each other during a local battle of the bands competition, where, despite competing against one another, they felt a deep musical connection and decided to join forces and form ‘Frigid Lock’.

The band’s journey wasn’t easy. The severe weather often made it impossible for them to meet and practice. But their unbreakable bond and love for music kept them going. They’d often play in local bars and cafes, their music echoing through the cold, silent nights of Anchorage. Their raw and honest music started to gain a following, and soon they were playing in bigger venues, eventually making their way to international music festivals.

Their favorite fan is a lively woman named Kayla Snow, who has been a loyal fan since their first performance at a local bar. Kayla is always at their concerts, cheering them on and singing along to every song. She says, “Frigid Lock is more than just a band to me. Their music has been the soundtrack to my life. It’s like they’ve taken my feelings, experiences, and thoughts and put them into beautiful lyrics and melodies. They’re not just musicians, they’re poets, and their music has the power to touch souls. I feel a connection with them that’s hard to put into words. Frigid Lock is my absolute favorite band and always will be.”
