Backstory:
Black-And-White Princess was formed in 2012 in the heart of vibrant New York City. Originally a trio composed of vocalist Amelia “Amy” Lancaster, guitarist Oliver “Oli” Harris and drummer Charlie “Chuck” Morgan, the band was formed during their college days at New York University. It was born out of a shared love for music, passion to express and a desire to break away from the mold of mainstream sound. Amy brought the melody, Oli brought the rhythm and Chuck brought the beat, creating an unexplainable chemistry that resonated in their music.
Their early days were spent playing in small venues, open mics, and college events. Their unique sound and intense performances quickly garnered attention, leading to bigger gigs and eventually, a record deal. With their foot firmly in the door of the music industry, Black-And-White Princess began to make their mark, refusing to be boxed in by industry standards and expectations.
