Backstory:

Blushing Bell originated in the heart of the bustling music scene of New Orleans in 2010. The band consists of childhood friends – lead vocalist and guitarist, Nina Thompson, bassist Rick Harris, and drummer, Jeremy “Jazz” Smith. The trio started as a garage band, honing their skills and experimenting with genre-blending sounds, gradually becoming a staple in the local music scene. Their breakthrough came in 2015 when they won a battle of the bands contest and grabbed the attention of a local record label executive.

The name ‘Blushing Bell’ was inspired by the unique pink colored bell of an old church in their neighborhood. The band says it symbolizes their love for their roots and their music – vibrant, yet nostalgic, full of charm and personality. Since their breakthrough, they have been known for their energetic live performances and their ability to captivate audiences with their unique sound and heartfelt lyrics.
