Backstory:
Careless Cow is a unique indie rock band formed in 2008, in the bustling music scene of Austin, Texas. The band consists of four members, who met in college while studying music: Caleb (lead vocalist, songwriter), Rick (guitarist), Ethan (drummer), and Sarah (bassist). All of them shared a passion for music that was different, content-rich, and resonated with subtle humor. Inspired by bands like Arctic Monkeys and The Strokes, they decided to form Careless Cow, a band that would give them a platform to create music that was close to their hearts.
The name ‘Careless Cow’ is a humorous nod to their Texan roots and their laid-back approach to life.
