Backstory:
Defenseless Error was born in the musically rich streets of New Orleans. Childhood friends, guitarist and vocalist Archie Holloway, bassist Eric Glass, drummer Sam Dobbs, and keyboardist Mary Nichols, always had an inclination towards music. The quartet spent their summers in high school jamming in Glass’ garage, their music echoing through the neighborhood. Their shared passion for music strengthened their bond, and they soon realized they had something unique. In 2013, they decided to make their passion official and formed the band, Defenseless Error. Their name, an inside joke between the band members, symbolizes their acceptance of their imperfections and vulnerability.
The band struggled initially but their breakout moment came in 2016 when their song ‘Scarlett Rain’ won the local music awards. They have since toured around the country, producing music that resonates with their fans. Their heartwarming story of unity, passion, and perseverance, coupled with their soulful music, has endeared them to thousands of fans worldwide.
