Closed Volcano is a band that emerged from the small town of Lakeport, Vermont. The band members, all childhood friends, shared a love for music and a common dream of making it big in the industry. They started as a garage band, playing for small gatherings, at local bars, and at their high school prom, honing their style and sound. The band was formed by singer-songwriter and guitarist, Max Thornton, bassist, Luke Stewart, drummer, Chris Lowell, and keyboardist, Sarah Jennings. They chose their name ‘Closed Volcano’ because it symbolized their journey of a burning passion within, waiting to erupt and spread their music across the world.
