Compassionate Neighbour

Backstory:

Compassionate Neighbour is a spirited four-piece rock band hailing from the vibrant music scene of Austin, Texas. Comprised of childhood friends Aidan (vocals/guitar), Benny (bass), Curtis (drums), and Donovan (keyboards), the group formed during their high school years. Originally a garage band playing at local parties, they were inspired by their tight-knit community’s ethos of kindness and unity, which led them to adopt the name Compassionate Neighbour. Over the years, their infectious energy, edgy sound, and heartfelt lyrics have built them a dedicated fanbase stretching far beyond their Texan roots.

(Verse 1)

[G] City lights, [Em] shining bright,
[C] As we’re dancing in the [D] moonlight.

[C] Can’t stop the fire in our [D] eyes.

(Chorus)

[G] We are walls, [D] we are bridges,
[Em] We’re the dreamers, the [C] misfits.
[G] Let’s break the silence, [D] let’s make it loud,
[Em] We are Compassionate Neighbour, [C] and we’re proud.

(Verse 2)

[G] Through the noise, [Em] we’ll find a way,
[C] To make a change, to [D] seize the day.

[C] We’re every heartbeat in [D] between.

(Chorus)

[G] We are walls, [D] we are bridges,
