Soupy Amusement began as a group of culinary students from Seattle, Washington who found a unique blend of their two passions – cooking and music. It started when they would entertain their fellow students with impromptu sessions in the kitchen, adding a unique rhythm to the chopping and sizzling sounds. After graduation, the quartet decided to pursue their dreams beyond the kitchen, with their shared love for music taking precedence. They named the band ‘Soupy Amusement’, a nod to their origins and the fun they have while creating their unique sound.
