Backstory:
Complex Arm is composed of five high school friends from a small town in Oregon. The band consists of lead guitarist and vocalist, Michael “Mickey” Lopez, bass guitarist, Oliver “Oli” Henderson, pianist and synthesizer specialist, Jeremy “Jer” Banks, drummer, Timothy “Tim” Fisher, and rhythm guitarist, Adam “Ad” Roberts. They started playing in the garage of Fisher’s house, their sound shaped by their shared love of progressive rock and the lush greenery of their Pacific Northwest environment. Mickey, the band’s main songwriter, finds inspiration in philosophical concepts, science fiction, and his own introspective journey, resulting in songs that tell rich stories and explore complex themes.
