Backstory:
Downright Team was formed in the heart of Los Angeles in 2016, a group of four friends who shared a passion for music and aspiration of making it big in the industry. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist, Johnny ‘Jax’ Maxwell, bassist, Brian ‘Bri’ Stevens, drummer, Danny ‘Drum’ Martinez, and keyboardist, Tim ‘Keys’ Rogers. They met in high school and started jamming in their garage, slowly forming the foundation of their signature sound that would eventually captivate millions.
It took a couple of years of hard work, small gigs, and knocking on every door in the music industry before they got their big break. Their perseverance paid off when they were signed by a major record label in 2018. Despite the sudden fame and fortune, Downright Team has managed to stay grounded, maintaining their humble roots and close-knit friendship, serving as an inspiration to their fans and the driving force behind their music.
