Backstory:

Formed in the small coastal town of Cape May, New Jersey, “Concerned Driver” came to life in 2011 when childhood friends, Eddie Murphy (no relation) and Tom Sanderson started turning their late-night, garage jam sessions into a full-fledged music phenomenon. Eddie, a delivery driver, and Tom, a mechanic, both had a keen interest in the rustling sound of the coastal winds, the cadence of the crashing waves, and the rhythm of their everyday life in this quiet town. They found a way to bottle up these local sounds and pour them into their unique brand of music. Joined by the classically trained violinist, Sarah “Smiles” Gonzalez, and the hard-hitting drummer, Dave “Madman” Maddison, from the neighboring town of Wildwood, the band was complete.
