The story

Formed in the vibrant city of Seattle in 2014, Mysterious Ink quickly made a name for themselves with their gritty, edgy sound and poetic lyrics. The band members - lead singer and songwriter John "Blackbird" Granger, lead guitarist Sophie "Quill" Parker, bassist Alex "Shade" Mercer, and drummer Chris "Parchment" Bailey, all met at a local open-mic night. Recognizing a shared love for music that was both nuanced and powerful, they decided to join forces. Together, they became Mysterious Ink, a name inspired by the idea that their music was an enigma written in invisible ink, waiting to be discovered and revealed.

Echoes of Silence

Verse 1
[C] Down the halls of [G] yesterday's dream,
[Am] We walked with [Em] hearts sewn at the seam.
[F] Whispered tales of [C] sorrow and joy,
[G] Lost in the [C] echoes of a boy.

Chorus
[F] Echoes of [C] Silence, [G] speak to me
[Am] In the darkness, [F] set me free.
[C] Find me in the [G] mystery,
[F] Echoes of [C] Silence, [G] be my plea.

Verse 2
[C] Shadows dance on [G] walls so high,
[Am] Painting stories [Em] in the sky.
[F] Love and pain, [C] both intertwined,
[G] Hidden in [C] corners of my mind.

Chorus
[F] Echoes of [C] Silence, [G] paint my song,
[Am] In the quiet, [F] where I belong.
[C] Lead me through the [G] symphony,
[F] Echoes of [C] Silence, [G] be my key.

Biggest fan

"Hi, I'm Lily McCormack. Mysterious Ink is my favorite band because their music speaks directly to my soul. John's lyrics are deeply philosophical and emotionally rich, while Sophie's guitar work provides a haunting backdrop. Alex's bass and Chris's drums add a mesmerizing rhythm that worms its way into your heart. They're not just musicians, they're poets, storytellers, and artists. Their song "Echoes of Silence" is a masterpiece. It's like they've taken my deepest thoughts and feelings and wrapped them in a musical journey. I can't get enough of it!"
