Backstory:
Cool Tv was born out of the obscurity of mid-west America, a small garage in Oakland, Iowa to be precise. Shawn Peterson, the lead vocalist and guitarist, got together with his childhood friends, bassist Rick O’Connell and drummer Max Walters, to escape the monotony of their day to day lives and express their shared love for music. Taking inspiration from objects that surrounded them, they chose a name that was as timeless and universal as their passion for music: Cool Tv.

After spending countless nights honing their skills and experimenting with various sounds in their humble garage, their unique blend of music started to take shape. The band, fueled by their raw energy and creative synergy, soon found their music being heard far beyond the confines of their small town, with their first self-produced album gaining unexpected traction on various indie music platforms.
