Backstory:
Shady Classification was formed in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2008 by childhood friends, Liam Mitchell (vocals and guitar) and Andrea Barton (drums). After years of jamming in their parents’ basements and playing at local high school gigs, they recruited two more members, Nathan Parker (lead guitar) and Emily Davis (bass). The band’s chemistry was instantaneous, and they were soon attracting attention from local radio stations and clubs. Their signature sound comes from their shared love for classic rock, alternative rhythms, and dark, poetic lyrics.
Genre:
Alternative Rock.

[C] Underneath the [G] city lights we [Am] wander,

[C] The echo of your [G] laughter in the [Am] hallway,
