Backstory:
Cultured Purpose was formed in the bustling city of Austin, Texas, in 2015. The band’s four members, all university friends, shared a passion for music and a desire to create something meaningful. Their shared love for a variety of music genres led to a unique blend that felt fresh and exciting. They moved into a house together after graduation, transforming their garage into a makeshift studio where they spent countless hours crafting their sound.
Despite their academic backgrounds, they chose to pursue music full-time after a local gig unexpectedly led to a record deal. The world was introduced to their unique blend of intensity and introspection in their debut album, “Phoenix Rising,” which was met with critical acclaim. Cultured Purpose has since established itself as a force to be reckoned with on the indie music scene.

“Echoes from Yesterday”
Full Song Lyrics:
[Intro]
Am G Fmaj7 C
(Plays twice)
[Verse 1]
Am G Fmaj7 C
Wandering through the maze of my mind,
Am G Fmaj7 C
Given up on the past, it’s time to unwind.
Am G Fmaj7 C
Memories of you, they’re all that I find,
Am G Fmaj7 C
Echoes from yesterday, can’t leave them behind.
[Chorus]
Am G Fmaj7 C
Echoes from yesterday, they keep me awake,
Am G Fmaj7 C
Living in the past, was my only mistake.
[Verse 2]
Am G Fmaj7 C
Searching for the truth in a sea of lies,
Am G Fmaj7 C
Beneath the starry night, under the tranquil skies.
Am G Fmaj7 C
I reach for a future, where our love never dies,
Am G Fmaj7 C
But all I find are echoes from yesterday, in disguise.
[Chorus]
Am G Fmaj7 C
Echoes from yesterday, they haunt my dreams,
Am G Fmaj7 C
Stuck in a time, where everything’s not what it seems.
[Outro]
Am G Fmaj7 C
(Plays twice)
