Backstory:
Born out of the edgy underbelly of Brighton’s indie scene, Difficult Trouser began as a rebellious musical experiment between two college roommates, drummer Mike “Sticks” Fletcher and guitarist/songwriter Simon “Frets” Hensley. Their eclectic, tongue-in-cheek humor combined with an insatiable love for punk rock music led to jamming sessions that would eventually become the foundation of Difficult Trouser. The duo soon recruited bassist Neil “Nails” O’Sullivan and keyboardist Rachel “Keys” McCarthy, and the band was officially born in 2008. Their magnetic and often unpredictable live performances quickly built a loyal fan base eager for more of their audacious sound.
