Backstory:
‘Fantastic Conversation’ came to life in 2005 in the vibrant arts scene of Portland, Oregon. The four members, Luke on lead vocals, Ben on drums, Erin on bass, and Tom on guitar, met at a local open mic night. They shared a unique brand of humor and a love for creating music that makes people think. After a couple of jam sessions and a lot of coffee shop discussions, they melded their individual styles to form ‘Fantastic Conversation.’ Their signature style and thought-provoking lyrics quickly started to resonate with the local music scene.
In the early years, the band struggled with staying together due to their day jobs and personal commitments. Despite these challenges, their love for the music and their increasing fan base kept them going. Their first break came in 2010 when they were featured in the Portland Music Festival. Their performance was a hit and led to a record deal. Since then, ‘Fantastic Conversation’ has been producing music that pushes boundaries and encourages listeners to engage in fantastic conversations of their own.

Title: “Coffee on a Tuesday”
Full Song Lyrics:
(Verse 1)
[G] I saw you in the coffee shop, [Em] on a rainy Tuesday,
[C] Your eyes held stories, [D] I wished I could say.
[G] Our worlds collided in a [Em] moment so brief,
[C] You left a mark on me, [D] beyond belief.
(Chorus)
[G] Let’s have a conversation, [Em] a fantastic one indeed,
[C] You and I, in the twilight, [D] where our hearts can bleed.
[G] Let’s talk about the universe, [Em] let’s talk about the sea,
[C] With a coffee on a Tuesday, [D] just you and me.
(Verse 2)
[G] I’ve seen the world in colors, [Em] but never like with you,
[C] Your laughter is a symphony, [D] in a world that’s often blue.
[G] Let’s dream of constellations, [Em] and cities made of gold,
[C] Where our stories will be written, [D] and our memories will hold.

Testimonial:
Fantastic conversation isn’t just a band to me, it’s a movement. Their music has always been there for me, through my highs and lows. From heartbreaks to the happiest moments, their songs have been my constant companion. I love how real and raw their lyrics are, they make me feel understood. It’s like each of their songs is a conversation we all need to have, but often shy away from. As a fan, I feel like I’ve grown with them, their music has shaped me in many ways. They’re not just my favorite band; they are a part of my life.
