Backstory:
Dim Mixture hails from the heart of Portland, Oregon. Founded by childhood friends, Matt Evans and Casey O’Brien in 2003, they initially began their venture into the music universe as a duo, covering grunge classics in their parents’ basements. After a chance encounter with talented drummer, Sarah Hamilton, and bassist, Eliot Cannon, at a local pub’s open mic night in 2005, the group became a full-fledged band, calling themselves Dim Mixture as a reflection of their varied musical influences and styles.
Over the years, Dim Mixture has built a strong regional following with their unique sound and a reputation for high energy performances. They’ve produced three albums and are currently working on their fourth. With a mix of heartfelt lyrics, dynamic guitar riffs, and powerful drum beats, Dim Mixture continues to charm the audiences with their authenticity and raw emotion.
