Backstory:
Dirty Maid originated from the hazy days of summer in the small town of Shady Grove, Alabama. Best friends since childhood, Marcus and Keith were always in trouble for creating a mess while experimenting with paints, model airplanes, and other “artistic endeavors”. Their parents would often say they needed a “Dirty Maid” to clean up after them. The name stuck, and when they picked up their first guitars in their early teens, there was never any doubt what their band would be called.

They spent their high school days perfecting their sound in Keith’s basement, playing at local gigs and open mic nights. Their big break came when a local radio DJ heard them playing at a charity event and was captivated by their raw energy and unique sound. Before they knew it, they were recording their first album and starting to make a name for themselves on the indie rock scene.
