Backstory:
Disfigured Oven formed in the heartland of America, where the members met in a culinary school in Kansas. The band’s lead vocalist, Tommy “Sizzling” Sands, was an aspiring chef who found more satisfaction in creating a different type of art – music. Tommy, together with bassist Charlie “Chef” Chalk, drummer Billy “Baker” Burns, and guitarist Peter “Pastry” Pierce, created songs with the same passion they had for cooking.
Their first jamming session took place in the school’s kitchen after hours. The heat of the stoves and the smell of dishes created an atmosphere of creativity and intensity that forged their unique sound. After accidentally leaving a pot too long on the stove, they witnessed the oven’s disfiguration, inspiring their name – Disfigured Oven.

(Verse 1)
[C] In the sizzling heat, [Am] where the flavors meet,

[Em] Spicy serenade, [G] our melodies played.

[C] In the simmering night, [Am] under the soft light,
[Em] Sizzling sauce, [G] feeling no loss.
